Can I come and play?

When I need to get "out of the city" my little, married sis is kind enough to let me bunk at her place in Queen Creek. I get my country-girl, fresh air fix. I get to laugh with my favorite LeSueur aunts, eat their yummy food, and play with their cute kids. And play with my own sister, who I rarely see these days (you know, we're grown-ups now and have to do the grown-up thing).
Thanks Lula-belle for the waffles, Dallin for letting us have girl talk while you studied, and Heidi and Lanette for always being so excited to see me. I hope my next trip out is sooner than later!

Oh my...

Because there were no other words to describe my emotions when I saw this old picture on Tasha's blog today...it took my breath away. And then I laughed, HARD.

I think I am more grateful now then ever that I had such wonderful friends growing up. I couldn't have asked for better. Not only were these girls kind, honest, and loyal, but they knew how to HAVE FUN! I wish every teenager could be blessed with such friends to shape their life in such a positive way. I know I was.

And this picture below was taken about 4-5 years later at the same spot in Liz's parents entryway. And I am sure when this picture was taken, none of us remembered that crazy Ladies 80's night, but I know we were all grateful that we have had each other over the years to laugh, cry, and share life's experieces with.

I guess this turned out to be a bit of a mushy post, but I love you girls and am thankful for you.

...and next time everyone is back in town and after all the babies are born this year I say we bust out the leotards and leg warmers again

Happy Birthday!!!

Today my brother Jay is 23!! I love Jay because...we have always been close
Because he married the coolest girl in the world, seriously

Because he made me an AUNT Ü

And because he still know how to tease his sisters to NO END!! Good thing we love him!

(Trying to prove that even though he is an old married man, he can still man handle his "big sisters")

And yes, he won
I am grateful to have a brother like Jay that loves me and supports me. I know he is always there for me and would do anything for me and thats a pretty great feeling. He is a great example of hard work and dedication in all that he does.

Its your day Jay-Boy-Larry-Butch!! Live it up!

The Big Day!!

Mr. & Mrs. Ellingson!!

It was the most beautiful day, you would think we would be sweating like crazy on a June afternoon but there was a cool breeze the whole time we were taking pictures. The sun was really bright though, which made it hard to keep our eyes open.

Miss Audrey made it to the luncheon

Bonnie's girls were so excited to be the little flower girls, and they looked so dang cute in their dresses

We were so excited that baby Will was able to make it for pictures before the reception started. Only 6 days old, and he is still perfect Ü

Bridesmaids: Becca, Stacy, Brittany, Julie, Mallory, Rebekah, Emily (and not pictured, Bonnie and Melanie)

Our family is getting bigger! (Elder Blake, we missed you!)

I'm an AUNT!!

3 generations
Aunt Mallory

Proud grandparents

William Jay LeSueur was born June 5, 2009 at 3:17 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz and measured 21 inches long. That's pretty big for a Lesueur baby! He is perfect, and we are soooo glad he is finally here!

Look at those long legs and toes, definintely a product of Jay and Britt!

He has Britt's nose and Jay's chin and mouth. You can't see it because of the hat, but he has wispy, curly light brown hair. He is adorable

Its amazing how much love you can feel for such a little person. Will, you can count on Aunt Julie for lots of ice-cream and park trips! I have a feeling this Aunt business is going to be a total blast Ü

May's been busy...(warning-LOTS of pics and they are not exactly in order)

The Alston's threw Laura her ward shower and it was so fun. She didn't do so hot at the "gum game", where you have to put a stick of gum in your mouth for every answer that you don't match with your fiance. She had quite the wad going on

Watching the gifts being opened

My sis in-law's baby shower. William Jay LeSueur had better show up soon!

Temple pics!! Yes, it was hot and sweaty but really fun to watch the photographer work with them. I would recommend Lee Grant to anyone, he was awesome.

Every sister's rite of passage

Just to prove how hot it was...

The best part, laying on the grass in the shade!! You have to admit, the hair color throws you off but me and Mal actually look alike

They are one stunning couple

My friend, Maegan got married

Me, John, and Tom had fun scarfing down the yummy reception food!

Ward Ocho de Mayo Party! Ay Ay Ay!!!

Wamsley's a pro

Me, Jill, and Cami

Donelle and Camette

There goes Wamsley again

Jessica, Jeff, and Jill

I love my girls!! It just so happened that right before Liz moved out to CA, Tricia was in town from Houston and all of us were able to get together for dinner. I forget how much fun we have, I LOVE IT! If you can't tell, four of the six of us are pregnant, and with Sarah having triplets, that makes approximately one baby for each of us at the table!

Tricia and Jeannie. We are so glad Jeannie lives here now, she is awesome!

Liz and Kemra

Laura's bridal shower was so nice thanks to the King's and the Clouse's and everyone who came.

Laura, Me, Aunt Heidi, Karly

Our cousin Kylee, Dallin's cousin Adrienne, my sis Mallory

Amazing quilt from Great-Grandma Redford

Even the box that said "Risque", "Romance", "Racy" was enough to make Laura turn bright red! Can you tell how much fun it was for us to watch her?!?! (I highly recommend clicking on this photo to see the looks on everyone's faces Ü)

Quading date Memorial Day! John, Linz, and Kenny ready to ride!

Higher Ground Dance Recital: Kemra, Tricia, Me, and Miss Emma (who was born for that stage, let me tell ya. She's got the Nelson moves)

My hot date, who claims he didn't even have to pose for this picture

This was a Memorial Day to be remembered, for sure. The quad Kenny and I rode decided to break down and get stuck in reverse. So after riding it out backwards halfway, we decided to load it up in John's truck and call it a day. Here's all of us trying to lift it

Kenny and I, so happy to be on a quad that works!
